Those who follow Jesus faithfully and strive to live biblically can offend those on the political left and right by proclaiming the following:<\/p>\n

  1. Left:<\/strong> that God promises prosperity to those who walk in his ways,<\/li>\n
  2. Right:<\/strong> that Jesus told his disciples to give all their riches to the poor if they wished to be his disciple.<\/li>\n
  3. Right<\/strong>: that Christ calls us to love our enemies and turn our cheek.<\/li>\n
  4. Left:<\/strong> that Jesus is returning as a warrior who will destroy his enemies.<\/li>\n
  5. Right:<\/strong> that those caught in sin like the woman caught in adultery should not be condemned.<\/li>\n
  6. Left:<\/strong> that adultery is sin.<\/li>\n
  7. Right<\/strong>: that creation is good apart from its usefulness to man.<\/li>\n
  8. Left:<\/strong> that God has given humankind dominion over nature.<\/li>\n
  9. Right:<\/strong> that the pollution of God\u2019s creation is a sin against God.<\/li>\n
  10. \u00a0Left:<\/strong> that our idolatry and sexual immorality also pollutes the land.<\/li>\n
  11. Right:<\/strong> that God judges nations on how they treat the poor, alien, orphan and widow,<\/li>\n
  12. Left: <\/strong>that some poverty is the result of sloth and foolishness.<\/li>\n
  13. Right<\/strong>: that real faith in God means trusting in Him, not in weapon systems.<\/li>\n
  14. \u00a0Left:<\/strong> that God really does destroy His enemies or even judge his people through armies with weapons.<\/li>\n
  15. Right:<\/strong> that God desires to deliver the oppressed like He delivered Israel from Egypt.<\/li>\n
  16. Left:<\/strong> that God will destroy some of the oppressed for idolatry like He did Israel.<\/li>\n
  17. Right:<\/strong> that God is love,<\/li>\n
  18. Left:<\/strong> that God is holy.<\/li>\n
  19. Right:<\/strong> that God loves everyone without partiality,<\/li>\n
  20. Left:<\/strong> that people can only come to the Father through his Son Jesus Christ.<\/li>\n
  21. Right<\/strong>: that God loves the world.<\/li>\n
  22. Left:<\/strong> that friendship with the world is hatred toward God.<\/li>\n
  23. Right<\/strong>: that Jesus ate with sinners.<\/li>\n
  24. Left<\/strong>: that Jesus referred to those he ate with as sinners.<\/li>\n
  25. Right<\/strong>: that laws and government won\u2019t create a moral society<\/li>\n
  26. Left<\/strong>: that laws and government won\u2019t create a just society.<\/li>\n
  27. Right<\/strong>: that Jesus did not call us to judge the world.<\/li>\n
  28. Left<\/strong>: that Christians are called to judge one another in righteousness.<\/li>\n
  29. Right<\/strong>: that God calls us to forgive everyone.<\/li>\n
  30. Left<\/strong>: that those who refuse to forgive others will not be forgiven by God<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
